The Tambour Horizon Light Up is the latest addition to Louis Vuitton’s expanding collection of connected timepieces.
The original Tambour watch has been revamped to align with Horizon’s connectivity presenting a curved sapphire glass screen which seamlessly runs over the edge of the watch face with 24 LED lights sitting under the classic Louis Vuitton Monogram ring.
The device will be available in three different iterations; Matte Brown, Matte Black and Polished Steel. However, wearers can customise the always-on display to reflect the mood or occasion, with eight built-in dial configurations. Initials, in a choice of colour and typeface, can also be added to further personalise the devise.
The custom-designed operating system will be ‘swipe-controlled’ with functionality such as ‘My Day’ which displays the wearer’s agenda, step count and heart rate, as well as the weather and air quality and ‘My Travel which stores the wearer’s travel plans and boarding passes, all available with easy swipe motions. Not only is the timepiece accredited as “made for iPhone” it is also compatible with Android and HarmonyOS smartphones.
