London’s newest lifestyle hotel, art’otel London Hoxton, opened its doors, in the heart of the city’s dynamic Shoreditch area. A blend of innovative art, sophisticated design, and top-tier hospitality, this hotel is the latest gem in the Radisson family’s contemporary art’otel brand. This opening marks art’otel’s second venture in the UK, following the successful launch of art’otel London Battersea Power Station in early 2023.
Strategic Location and Signature Style
Strategically located near the Old Street Underground station, art’otel London Hoxton offers convenient access to the City, Liverpool Street Station, the Elizabeth Line, and all major London airports. The hotel stands out not only for its prime location but also for the artistic vision of Signature Artist D*Face, whose influence permeates the entire hotel, making the opening one of the most exciting events in London this year.
Accommodations and Amenities
The hotel features 357 guest rooms, including 48 luxury suites and the remarkable 196m² D*Face Masterpiece Suite. Each room offers a unique skyline view of London, marrying comfort with artistic flair. On the leisure front, the hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, and a gym, with plans to open a spectacular skyline gym and a luxury spa on the 26th floor by summer.
Dining and Events
The ground and first floors house The Brush, a Grand Cafe, Lounge & Cocktail Bar that serves a selection of European dishes and cocktails. The hotel plans to launch a destination restaurant on the 25th floor later this year, promising breathtaking 360° views of the capital. Additionally, flexible event spaces on the 24th floor will soon host a variety of cultural and corporate events, while a plush 60-seat auditorium will cater to public screenings and launches.
Art and Culture at Its Core
Central to the art’otel experience is the art’beat programme, which integrates art, music, fashion, and wellness. The hotel features a 135m² art gallery showcasing exclusive works by D*Face and other emerging artists, aligning with Hoxton’s rich cultural and artistic scene.
The D*Face Influence
D*Face, known globally for his urban art, has embellished the hotel with his works in all bedrooms and public spaces, in collaboration with Eyal Shoan of the award-winning Digital Space interior design studio. The hotel’s exterior, designed by Squire & Partners, features an iconic cogwheel motif that complements the vibrant artworks within.
