We are delighted to share with you that the Jewel of Provence, La Bastide de Marie, will reopen this April (2022) and marks 20 years of the Sibuet family’s le domaine de Marie.
Nestled in the heart of Luberon Natural Park, La Bastide de Marie, is a fully restored 18th-century farmhouse estate that covers 57 acres of vineyards and gardens.
The estate comprises of just 15 suites that have been lovingly restored by the emblematic owner, Jocelyne Sibuet. This summer, visitors will fall under the spell of Provence once more when the property reopens on 14 April 2022, as the Sibuet family celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Domaine de Marie, their wine estate in the heart of Luberon.
Guests-in-residence can take full advantage of their surroundings with a guided tour of the Domaine de Marie vineyards and wine cellar, sure to delight oenophiles. Alternatively, the beautiful Luberon Regional Nature Park is just waiting to be explored and meandered between the picturesque villages of Provence.
To commemorate the anniversary, for the very first time, this year, the family is throwing open the doors to Le Mas, a family-style farmhouse, ideal for guests seeking a fully private exclusive use experience. Set deep within the magical cedar forest, the brand-new six-bedroom property will offer a secluded hideaway complete with a private swimming pool, that is ideal for a multi-generational family escape or for friends looking to reconnect. As with the rest of La Bastide de Marie, the property has been designed in Jocelyne Sibuet’s unique, signature style – one that we know and very much love!
