The Iconic Raffles & Fairmont Doha Are Open & Redefining Luxury In The Region

These two hotly anticipated new properties – both of which are found within Lusail’s Katara Towers – are now open to guests. The opening follows the successful pre-launch during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, when the hotels welcomed a select number of guests and VIPs through its doors.

Raffles Library Experiences

A stand-out highlight of the experience at Raffles Doha, is its innovative ‘in-suite scent library’, a first for the hotel industry globally. This enables guests to choose which aromas are diffused across their suite, in partnership with the French perfumier, Compoz.  Another library element, and a further exclusive experience is The Blue Cigar Lounge, with its “secret” library. Here, rare and prized classics are available for guests to read, including some first editions, like a sought-after two-volume copy of The Iliad and The Odyssey in Greek and Latin from 1707.

The hotel also marks the first international opening of a Crippa restaurant; Alba by Enrico Crippa, the three-star Michelin chef. And wellness is taken very seriously; individual beauty, fitness and hydro suites (one Fitness Suite, three Spa Suites and five Experience Suites) are mini-spas within the larger spa. The Spa Suites each have either a fitness or beauty studio for private, two-person treatments. And Spa Experience Suites have a sauna, hammam, outdoor pool and relaxation space along with a treatment room for two. These can be reserved in their entirety, for a family or a group of friends to enjoy exclusive access to the hydrothermal facilities. Dr Burgener, Subtle Energies and marocMaroc are some of the high-end and cutting-edge beauty brands to have partnered with Raffles.
